Terms and Conditions
Introduction
Please find below our full terms and conditions of Arrowtown Hair Studio and Arrowtown Hair Shop. These terms and conditions include but are not limited to the following.
New Clients
For all new clients, we require a mandatory in-person consultation at least 48 hours prior to your appointment. This is an opportunity for us to assess your hair and discuss your hair goals. We also conduct a skin test and strand test of your hair. If we feel for any reason that your hair is not suitable for the appointment you want, we will contact you and reserve the right to refuse service if necessary.
New Client Consultations + Non-refundable Booking Fee
If it’s your first visit to Arrowtown Hair for colour, we do require a non-refundable booking fee in advance.
New client consultations are a discussion about your hair goals. These consultations are complimentary; however, if you proceed to book an appointment with us, a non-refundable booking fee of $100 will be required to secure your appointment. For larger appointments such as Balayage or large lightening services, a $200 non-refundable booking fee will be required before we book the appointment.
If you decide not to proceed with your appointment for any reason, the booking fee will be forfeited. However, as a courtesy, we allow you to use this towards products in our shop. Refunds will not be provided.
The non-refundable booking fee is valid for six months. If not redeemed during this time, it becomes forfeit.
Cancellation / Booking Conditions
By booking an appointment with Arrowtown Hair Studio, you are agreeing to our cancellation conditions.
Cancellation Fees:
Standard Services + Colour Services:
Cancellations outside of 24 hours of your appointment: No charge.
Cancellations within 24 hours of your appointment: 100% of service will be charged.
Balayage, Ombre, or Large Lightening Services:
Cancellations outside of 48 hours of your appointment: No charge.
Cancellations within 48 hours of your appointment: 100% of service will be charged.
No-shows: 100% of the booked service will be charged.
Cancellation / Booking Conditions – Online
All online bookings are non-refundable.
Confirmations + Booking
When booking an appointment, all appointments will have a “Booked” status.
When a booking is “Confirmed” (either by text message, verbally, via email, or social channels), it is expected that you will be attending the appointment.
If you have not confirmed your appointment, we will make every effort to contact you.
We send an automated text message 4 days before requiring a Yes/No answer.
If we do not hear back, we will call and leave a voicemail on day 3.
If still no response, we will send a manual text message.
If we do not hear from you by 48 hours prior to the appointment, we may cancel it.
If you forget to attend a confirmed appointment, it becomes a “No Show” and is fully payable.
Late Policy
We will always try our best to accommodate you if you’re running late. Clients generally have a 5-10 minute grace period. After that, we will call to check your arrival time. If you are more than 10 minutes late, we will do as much of the service as possible within the allotted time, but the full service is payable.
Adjustment Policy
All services are non-refundable. However, we are happy to provide an adjustment service free of charge at our discretion.
In case of a disagreement, an adjustment service must be validated by management. You have 10 days to contact the studio to receive a complimentary service to adjust any dissatisfaction.
The service must result from a mistake by the service provider (Arrowtown Hair) and not because you changed your mind, deviated from aftercare instructions, or due to a prior hair state.

Welcome to Arrowtown Hair Studio’s online shop. By accessing and using this website, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions.
Products and Services
All products and services listed are subject to availability.
Pricing
Prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST.
Order Processing
Orders are confirmed via email. Arrowtown Hair reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order.
Payment
Payment must be made in full before dispatch.
Shipping and Delivery
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. Arrowtown Hair is not responsible for external delays.
Returns and Exchanges
Products may be exchanged within 30 days if unopened, unused, and undamaged. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility. Refunds are not provided.
